General Contractors are requiring Trade Contractors to participate in BIM Coordination.
Many Trade Contractors have been utilizing 3D technologies for their own fabrication purposes for years. With the advent of Building Information Modeling (BIM), General Contractors (GC) are requiring their Trade Contractors to participate in BIM Coordination. This involves new software and a unique level of collaboration. ARC BIM Services Group (ARC BSG) works with Trade Contractors to create an interface with the GC BIM requirements while delivering traditional deliverables like shop drawings.
