Program Manager (Outside Sales Representative)

As a Program Manager, your main responsibility will be to prospect and close new accounts for RCMS services opportunities. You will be responsible for contacting qualified opportunities, generating initial interest, performing solution demonstrations and closing sales. This is a base + commission based position that offers excellent income, advancement potential, a professional work environment and the opportunity to be a key player on the RCMS team.

Job Description

  • Contact potential prospect executives and develop relationships; maintain quality contacts with key decision makers; employ company resources as needed to assist in closing sales.
  • Manage existing accounts: expand current sales levels, understand customer needs, and work with sales support, project managers, and other teams to ensure client needs are met.
  • Become proficient in the use of sales/leads management tools
  • Prepare complete, accurate, detailed sales activity reports as requested
  • Attend networking events and promote services. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • We have open positions in Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, Denver, CO, Washington, DC these positions may involve some travel.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of prior sales experience and track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Demonstrated ability to find opportunities and engage executives and close business
  • An ability to think fast, learn quickly and effectively articulate business, technology and architectural concepts
  • An ability to work consistently towards a goal, overcome obstacles and ask for the order
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
  • Intermediate (or better) competency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Internet, CRM applications and telephone/voicemail systems
  • Presentation skills: ability to present using the latest presentation technology and command of presentation graphics
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • Prior architectural, construction or technology sales background is a plus.
